Feet to Finz- Seahorse Program (ages 3-5)

The purpose of the program:
This Program focuses on water safety whilst enhancing the children’s confidence in water through organized play and a basic introduction to the skill set required for advancing onto future Programs.
The program's goals:
- Water Safety; aware of water exists & perform entry and exit unassisted.
- Submerge entire face & perform bubbles through nose.
- Learn to float on front & back unaided.
- Perform correct flutter kick on front & back.
- Learn basic push-off concept into streamline position.
- Introduction to jumps & dives.

We highly recommend that swimmers turn up with their swimsuits on and prepared for their lesson. Parents are to wait outside or at the cafeteria further away from the pool and can watch all lessons from the spectator area. We promote the idea of going to ‘swim school’ in order for kids to adapt quickly. Please wait for us at the gate in order for your child to walk in with us to the pool as a group. We will bring all children back to the entrance after their lesson however you are now allowed to help your children change after the lesson in the changing rooms if preferred

The purpose of the program:
This Program continues building on the previous skill set by introducing the necessary basic swim drills & terminology required for future programs in competitive swimming, artistic swimming or water polo.
The program's goals:
- Learn basic freestyle & backstroke drills with board and without
- Learn correct push-offs & hold for 2 meters
- Swim 20m unaided
- Learn proper headfirst dive into a streamline
- Perform correct breaststroke kick
- Introduction to basic breast pull
- Basic introduction to dolphin kick at end of the Term

The purpose of the program:
This class is specifically designed for children between 6-10 who are not yet comfortable swimming unaided or unassisted. This is a bridge between our Seahorse and Pufferfish Program; preparing the children for the requirements and skills learnt during Pufferfish.

The purpose of the program:
This course aims to build a solid foundation in competitive swimming by developing core techniques in all four strokes, including basic drills and swimming 25m of butterfly. Swimmers will also learn proper underwaters, push-offs, turns, and head-first dives, preparing them for advanced training and racing.
The program's goals:
- Learn basic drills for all four strokes.
- Learn basic techniques for freestyle, backstroke & breaststroke.
- Learn to swim 25m of butterfly,
- Learn correct underwaters & push-offs.
- Introduction to all swimming turns.
- Learn the correct head-first dive from a streamline.

The purpose of the program:
Following the Turtle Program, children are ready to swim basic swim sets in a 25m pool where they incorporate freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke and learn to swim full-stroke butterfly.
The program's goals:
- Learn to swim 25m freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke on-demand and repetitively.
- Learn advanced drills and skills for all 4 strokes.
- Swim at least 25m of full stroke butterfly.
- Learn how to execute all tumble and touch turns.
- Perform correct transition from dive to full stroke for all strokes.
